What types of inks are available in the tattoo industry and what types do you use ?
There are many different types of ink used in the tattoo industry, including world-famous, zuper super, standard black, and triple black; however, at Kingleo Tattoz. We only utilise ink that is of the highest quality. The difference between normal black ink and triple black ink is that normal black ink turns greenish after the tattoo heals and begins to lighten over time, whereas triple black ink always remains black. Yes, we create our designs in-house since we think every tattoo has a distinct style and repeating the same designs on clients also has an adverse effect on them. To be honest, everyone wants something distinctive and special on their body so we create unique designs keeping our client's requests in mind.
Do you create your tattoo designs ?
Can you share your coustomised
design to the client before they
get a tattoo ?
Because each artist spends too much time customising each tattoo, we don't share the original or customised designs with clients before they get inked. Just to be clear if a client says they don't want to get inked right away but would like us to share the design we have customised with them instead, we won't share the design.
Despite the fact that the majority of people will answer "yes," this is a difficult question to answer.
Tattooing involves repeatedly piercing the top layer of your skin with a sharp needle covered in colour. Therefore, obtaining a tattoo is typically painful, however, each person may feel the agony at a different intensity. Males and females who are biologically different often experience and manage pain in different ways. Additionally, the pain levels associated with tattooing vary according to the bodily part. The most painful body parts to get tattooed are bony areas, ticklish areas, areas with a thin layer of skin, areas with a lot of nerves, and areas with damaged tissues.
Is getting a tattoo painful ?
Why does a tattoo lighten as it heals ?
Yes, tattoos lighten after healing because it depends on the kind of client's skin. Black and grey tattoos lighten by 15 to 20%, whereas coloured tattoos lighten by 30%. There is no need to be concerned if a new tattoo appears to be fading or lightening; these are normal signs of the healing process. Once fully healed, many tattoos will darken once again, however, this is not always the case. This is dependent on a variety of variables, including the tattoo artist's skill level, the ink used, the tattoo's colours, and your aftercare regimen.
There are some circumstances under which a person really should not get a tattoo namely:
When he/she is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol because alcohol can thin the blood, which may make for a messy tattoo that would have a hard time healing.
When some health issues like diabetes, heart problems, and circulation issues are there that could make getting a simple tattoo very dangerous.
Pregnant ladies shouldn’t get a tattoo because it's harmful to the baby they are carrying in their womb.

After getting a tattoo, the following precautions must be taken:
Depending on the size and design of the tattoo, you must refrain from eating or drinking anything acidic thing for a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 10 days.
In the morning wash the tattoo lightly with an unfragranced, mild hand soap. Be sure to remove all ointment, blood and any other residue.
Showers only. Avoid baths, swimming pools and hot tubs until the tattoo has finished healing.
You must avoid exercising for at least a week because pulling the skin and excessively sweating in the area of your tattoo can interrupt the healing process.

Yes, absolutely.
I am careful in choosing studios that are open minded, inclusive, where you can feel safer.
I love making designs that support the LGBTQIA+ community, that explore and question gender identity and sexual orientation – you will find that most of my designs are of androgynous humans. When it comes to tattooing over scars (self-harm or other) I am also open to do it and have done it in the past. It’s important to keep in mind that some scars work better with my style than others. Because I only use lines, sometimes the scars make the lines wobbly and can distort the tattoo.
So it’s a matter of finding the right design and placing it well, wether to make the scars less noticeable or to work with them, embracing them.
Do you tattoo LGBTOIA+ folks, BIPOC, people with scars ?
